7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

*Staff frequents various base locations during the day and may not be in the office, however, they will always be in the office for parent resources between 10-11 a.m. and 1:30-2:30 p.m.

Air Force Family Child Care

Whether military or civilian, parents are more successful in performing their military mission, secure in the knowledge that their children’s safety, health and well-being are protected. Air Force Family Child Care Programs are designed to give parents that peace of mind. One of the hallmarks of the Air Force Family Child Care Program is its ability to tailor the types of care offered to virtually fit every schedule deployment or special need. Air force Family Child Care Providers undergo stringent certification requirements; 15 AF FCC Training modules (approximately 60 clock hours), monthly unannounced home visits, background investigations, annual training, and certification in first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for children 2 weeks to 12 years.

If you are looking for a professional, portable career that will allow you to stay home with your own home-based business, then becoming an Air Force FCC provider may be a good fit for you. We'll provide the necessary training and materials to get you started. Training topics can include first aid, health, safety, developmentally appropriate practices and child guidance. All of the credentials you earn will transfer with you wherever the Air Force may send you. To be eligible to be a provider, you must be a least 18 years of age, read and speak English, in good health, and willing to undergo a background check.
